Built for Builders, Certified, Load-Cell Tested & Licensed

The person who quotes your job is the person on the machine. Every pile torque-tested, cut to height, and documented for your certifier. On the day we book you in.

Program Certainty

We turn up when we say we will

Turning up should not be a selling point, but across the trades it too often is. When a piler no-shows, your whole program slips and it costs you money every day the site sits.

You get a date and we work to it. If a site turns urgent, call us and we will do what we can to fit you in.

  • Booked and kept. A date you can build your program around.
  • No cure delay. Piles are ready to build on the moment we finish, rain or shine.
  • One point of contact. You explain the job once, to the person who does it.
  • Straight talk on suitability. If screw piles are the wrong system for a site, we tell you before you spend a dollar.
The Proof Your Certifier Wants

Load-cell tested, real numbers per pile

On the end of our drive attachment, the part that screws the pile in, sits a load cell wired into a computer on the machine. The engineer gives us a required load. As each pile winds down, the rig reads the actual torque against the minimum it has to reach, and against a maximum, because over-torque overstresses the pile.

When the pile hits the number, it is proven, and the figure is logged. Most contractors read a hydraulic pressure gauge and estimate. We hand you a documented load record for every pile, which is exactly what backs the engineer's Form 43/12 and keeps your certifier moving. See how it plays out on a new home build or a swimming pool job.

  • Documented, not guessed. A recorded load and depth for every pile on the job.
  • Engineer designed. Structural piles are installed to an RPEQ piling design, Form 15 where required.
  • Certification ready. Torque and depth records support the Form 43/12 inspection certificate.
  • No hold-ups from us. Everything within our control lands with the job, not weeks later.
Pile Quality

We only run quality helical piles

What we run

Helical piles

The end of the pile is a plate twisted into a helix, like a screw. That helix does all the load work, pulling the pile in and then bearing the structure's weight into competent ground. The piles we run are properly engineered and stress tested, Australian-made to code.

How we specify

Australian-made to code

Every pile is Australian-made and manufactured to code, with the pile size, helix configuration and coating specified to the engineer's design and the ground it is going into. Nothing goes in the ground that we would not stand behind.

Included as standard, on every quote: piles cut to the required height. Ben cuts the heads himself, so your slab crew starts on a finished job. It is not an extra line on the invoice.
Local Ground Knowledge

Over a decade reading South East Queensland ground

Every suburb behaves differently. Dry sand hills at Sunrise Beach that just get harder as you go. The same sand a few kilometres on with groundwater a metre down turning it to slop, so you drive into coffee rock below. Reactive clay through Ipswich and Brisbane that heaves houses. Coastal ground like Airlie Beach where you expect sand and find rock through the profile, which changes how the pile goes in and how long it takes.

Knowing that before we quote means fewer surprises for you: a realistic design depth, an honest variation rate if we have to go deeper, and a piler who has seen your ground before. Read the detail in our Queensland soil types guide.

Licensed and Insured

Screw pile installation is licensed building work

Foundation and piling work is building work in Queensland, and it must be carried out by a QBCC-licensed contractor. Core Screw Piling works in partnership with Screw Piling QLD, QBCC Licence 15036577, which you can verify free on the QBCC register, and carries public liability insurance. Structural piles are designed by a qualified piling engineer and certified on install, so nothing about the foundation is going to stall your building approval.
